Counting down to the trip and getting more and more excited every day. The whole Andrew McMahon performance is sending my heart a flutter. I really, really want to go, but we'll see how things pan out. I realise I've been like a broken record about this - it's what's keeping me sane right now.

The drama going on at work is still going and I'm doing what I do best: trying to ignore it and pulling my hair out or exhausting myself elsewhere because I'm not actually ignoring it. But, on the good side, I've managed to split my role up between four people for while I'm away! I keep worrying I'll be giving them all too much. Have to try to remember that it's my role which is a role for one person, split between four so it's not overloading anyone.

I got told off by a friend because I said I can still answer texts while I'm away. I've become a workaholic. /o\ WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN?

The little brother, who is actually taller than me and not so little, is moving to London next month. I think I've mentioned it before, but what I failed to mention was my parents will be gallivanting around the world for two months next year as well.

I'll be all alone. :(

You guys, I have a really big house that you're all welcome to live in for those two months. We'll just ignore that there's kind of awkward public transport in my suburb and pretend it will be a wonderful party. I get lonely :(

Now for some links:
1. Jewellery made out of books. The bookworm in me is torn between "no not the precious books" and "i can wear a book without getting stared at?"
2. Only Cupcakes because I didn't cook this weekend and now all I want to make are cookie monster cupcakes.
3. There is no 3.

Saturday night was Jamie's 22nd. I dressed him up in all things orange. Plus gave him an orange. He's my favourite.

My damsel in distress is my favourite too, and she knows why.

I bought Simple Plan tickets.

Frontier Touring sent me three copies of the same email.

I am going to struggle at work for the next two weeks. I actually just left at 4:45 ignoring the remaining three hours of work I had left. I'm considering asking to go back to head office at the end of this week, even though right now I am only a 5 minute drive from home. Peace of mind has far greater value than an extra half-hour of sleep.

The ball is this Friday. I have a dress. I've booked my hair appointment (just getting it cut, and wearing it out). We have pre-drinks planned. We have also come up with a plan to avoid Sean all night. All I need to do now is charge my camera batteries and hide my phone.

I blew another light globe and caused the toaster to short out.

I owe so much to certain people. From me to you, thank you. Making me cry and laugh and spin so fast I can't keep up with the world. I wouldn't have it any other way.

There's also this, which I just found:
*intimidates* )

So, I'll leave you with a smile on my face before I either nod off at my desk or go to bed.

I was meant to be going ice-skating tomorrow, but friends had things come up and it's all been cancelled. Maybe I'll work on updating the resume I need to do for my class.

I was really looking forward to going too. I haven't been in years.

Someone suggest something I can do tomorrow, aside from work, cleaning or lazing around all day. I am stumped for ideas that result in me getting out of the house (driving aimlessly does not count). Do any Melbournians have no plans and are willing to put up with me for an hour? Anyone want to catch up? I'm meant to be on winter break, not studying for classes. I think I'll be insane before next week is out.

I do realise it is 10.50pm, but hey, someone might be reading.

I can officially say that my winter semester subject is one of the most pointless things in the history of the world. Much like wearing sunglasses at night. Completely and utterly ridiculous and a waste of holidays. I'm fairly sure that having lived nineteen and a half years, I know how to communicate formally in the workplace fairly effectively. The subject isn't even for credit. It's a requirement to go on placement, but other than that you don't pay for it and it doesn't help your average, it merely repeats things that have been drilled into our heads since approximately year 10, if not before then.

At least in two weeks I'll be so busy I won't have time to sneeze.

Things that have happened in the past couple of days:
- Mail.
- Strings for The Unknown and currently unnamed.
- HOWL first pressing.
- Jane Vinyl/Marly/Ciaran/Silly AUs/Boys Like Girls/Picspams
- ...more!

Let me know what's up with you all, I feel like, no, scrap that, I know I haven't heard from many of you in so long. I miss talking and knowing how your lives are going.

On Thursday night, Tegs and I went to see Kisschasy with The Donnas and The Getaway Plan!

The day started off with handing my final assignment in, and then falling asleep in a lecture before we went back to Tegs' place and waited to leave. We got to The Metro The Palace just over an hour before doors.

without you I'm just bones and skin )

I have a whole lot more to write about (Friday - dinner with uni friends, and Saturday - My Fair Lady) but it's late, and I haven't been sleeping well - actually, I've been sleeping until mid-day most days... Not good! Especially since exams are starting, but yes, I need to fix my sleeping pattern.

Study, study, study!
